Antique rare Villeroy & Boch pattern 1570 from Rouen Saar Basin factory, in the north of France at the disputed border of Germany at the time. Markings on the underside date it between 1870 to 1890. Depicting birds of paradise at center with floral and red trim, and scalloped edge. Marked on bottom;
