Late 20th Century Hutschenreuther Plate “Melon Eater”
Custom framed Hutschenreuther transfer decorated porcelain plate in a gilt wood frame shadow box. Circa second half of the 20th century.
This plate has been wonderfully decorated with an iconic scene, originally painted by the 1600’s Spanish Artist, Bartolomé Esteban Murillo. The Plate displays the Scene; the “Melon Eater” from the “Beggar Boys” collection displaying two boys, one eating melon, along with a dog and a basket of fruit.
